Since 1974 INTECS has been a leader in the software systems, with a widely acknowledged leadership in the most advanced techniques for embedded systems and real time.
Strict adherence to standards and recommendations has always been the basis for a solid quality culture in INTECS.



Certifications, Qualifications and Awards

In 1994, INTECS became one of the first companies in Italy to be granted ISO 9001 certification from DNV-GL (Det Norske Veritas - Germanischer Lloyd) for the following scope:

“Realization of integrated HW and SW systems based on advanced technologies and internal R&D investment in following sectors: Defense, Aerospace, Air and Naval Traffic Control, Railway, Automotive, Telecommunication.” In addition, INTECS is certified EN 9100 providing specific and supplemental requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Organizations

The quality system has been extended to ensure conformance to NATO AQAP-2110 and AQAP-160.

Tailored procedures are available to comply effectively with domain specific standards such as Defence (MIL-STD-498), Space (ECSS E-40/Q-80), Avionics (DO-178B/C), Railway (EN 50128) and automotive (Automotive SPICE® - ISO 15504 and ISO 26262).

In 2009, INTECS achieved the maturity level 3 of CMMI® (Capability Maturity Model Integration) of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) for Defence and ATC/VTS (Air Traffic Control/Vessel Traffic System). One year later, CMMI® level 3 was achieved also for Railway activities.

In 2005, INTECS was qualified by SCIROTÜV and TÜV Rheinland, for the performance of assessments according to the CENELEC EN 50128 standards. INTECS has an own safety functional engineering team according to EN 61508 certified by TÜV.

Since 2006, Volkswagen recognized INTECS for process improvement consultancies on Automotive SPICE® (ISO 15504).

In 2006 INTECS achieved an Automotive SPICE® level 2 (one of the first in Italy) and in 2015 achieved level 3.

Furthermore, INTECS has software process assessors for Automotive SPICE® ISO 15504 qualified according to the INTACS European scheme by the German VDA/QMC.
